We are seeking an experienced Distribution Process Improvement Leader to join the Global Operations team. The Global Operations team will oversee supply chain management and lead the implementation of planning, strategic sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics activities. We will build, create, and enhance end-to-end operation strategies, processes, analytics, technology, and continuous improvement efforts.

As the Distribution Process Improvement Leader you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining effective systems and processes for our distribution centers and manufacturing plants. In this role, you will be expected to analyze and optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards related to environment, health, and safety (EHS).

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and is located remotely, Stockton or in Rantoul, Illinois.

As the Distribution Process Improvement Leader, you will have the following primary and second responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement distribution center lay out and product flow processes and to ensure systems that improve safety, quality, SLA performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate technology and automated warehouse solutions to support end to end warehousing and distribution center solutions.
  • Conduct Engineering assessments to identify improvement opportunities in safety and ergonomics, quality, and efficiency.
  • Set Engineering standards for activities through time and motion studies, SOP’s in production processes and distribution.
  • Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies.
  • Supporting development of training documents and supervising for distribution staff on new processes and procedures to ensure each location is in alignment with Global Operations.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with business leaders to best support Revelyst strategy, customer, and consumer needs. Also, collaborate with other engineers, and managers to develop and implement process improvements. It is important to align with company goals and drive a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability.
  • Preparing reports and presentations on production and distribution performance data and process improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with environment, safety, and health regulations.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in industrial engineering experience in distribution center closures and startups.
  • Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software, knowledge of production and operations management principles, and familiarity with regulatory compliance regarding health, safety, and environmental standards are crucial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and implement efficient distribution center processes.
  • Experience with project management and budgeting.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to align operational goals and strategies to higher level corporate goals that drive results.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
