Position Overview:

Revive® is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategic plans in support of new business opportunities, including identifying and developing customer relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Proactively identify and engage with key contacts at new and existing customers to maximize the company’s sales performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, prospecting, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry trends and market changes to identify potential opportunities and threats and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and pipeline status to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and to build our network of contacts.
  • Lead, facilitate, and coordinate with other functional departments or divisions on the procedures for onboarding new customers, to include the application and qualification process.
  • Lead and facilitate the bid submittal process by partnering with other departments and division leaders as necessary.

Success Factors / Job Competencies

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, with at least three years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.

  • Requires minimal supervision, must be a self-starter.

Qualifications Required:

  • Five or more years of Business Development experience.
  • Five or more years of customer relations or service experience.

Working Conditions / Environment:

The home office for this position is located at 18549 Historic Route 66, Pacific, MO 63069; albeit this position will also work remotely and include travel. This position regularly works out of a controlled office environment, with some exposure to the field environment while visiting project sites. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, projectors, smartphones, copy/fax, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary position; however, some physical work will be required. Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and driving.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

May visit construction project sites. Must wear common PPE and safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, safety vests, etc. and may be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite.
