Director of IT & Project Management
Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic director of IT and project management to lead our IT operations and project management teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the implementation of enterprise software solutions, managing IT risks, and ensuring that IT projects are aligned with our business objectives. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage and deploy IT resources in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Professional Certification: PMP certification is preferred for this role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 6-8 years of technical experience in IT, with substantial exposure to software implementation and IT infrastructure management. Proven track record in project management and team leadership. Demonstrated experience in managing and advising on IT projects.
- Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Software Implementation:
  • Ensure successful implementation of enterprise software solutions within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends and integrate innovative technologies into the organization.
IT Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to IT security, compliance, and technology adoption.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect systems and data integrity while complying with relevant regulations.
Portfolio Management:
  • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps that align with organizational goals.
  • Use effective methodologies for project prioritization within the IT portfolio and adapt strategies to evolving business needs.
Resource Management:
  • Allocate IT resources effectively to optimize productivity and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, focusing on skill development and efficient communication.
Security Management:
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Implement strategic security measures and policies to enhance organizational safety and data governance.
Infrastructure Development:
  • Oversee the setup and decommissioning of servers and networking infrastructure.
  • Ensure efficient processes that minimize disruptions and support the organization's long-term IT needs.
