Revo Health LLC. is Hiring a Surgery Scheduler - Twin Cities Orthopedics Near Plymouth, MN
The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling duties, patient registration, and additional administrative tasks. This is a full-time position working M-F out of our Plymouth Orthopedic Surgery Center. Hours will be based on surgery center needs. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Responsible for accurately and consistently scheduling and verifying insurance information for all surgical procedures.
Maintains professional relationships with all physician offices.
Works in conjunction with Leadership on block scheduling and maintains the schedule flow.
Assists in training staff in scheduling as needed.
Accountable for reporting occurrences through the center’s established reporting process related to employee and/or patient/visitor events.
Participates in acceptable continuing education, fostering career and skill development including meeting departmental continuing education requirements.
Any and all other duties as assigned including those assigned to Patient Services Representative (see Patient Services Representative Job Description) and Non-Clinical Pre-Admission Coordinator (see NCPATC Job Description).
Education And Experience Requirements
High School diploma/GED or equivalent
Medical terminology knowledge preferred
Two years’ experience in medical office setting or related field preferred
Essential RequirementsAbility to:

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Understand and execute a variety of instructions
Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
Work independently with minimal supervision
Travel to other work locations, if required
