rEvolution is seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our growing sports marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the Corporate Counsel, you will primarily review, finalize, and maintain accuracy across all legal agreements to optimize the legal operational priorities of manage risk exposure while maintaining an efficient contracts management workflow. You will also be tasked with assisting the Corporate Counsel with other legal-related matters as they arise, including, but not limited to, research and other administrative assignments.

You Will:

• Provide assistance to Corporate Counsel regarding all contracts-related matters as requested
• Administer the complete life cycle of company contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution) through rEvolution’s Contracts Lifecycle Management process on Monday.com
• Handle both internal and external requests for status of contracts
• Facilitate, administer, and track the contract approval and execution processes, policies, and procedures
• Negotiate terms of agreements with clients, vendors, and other parties as directed
• Review contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Run reports from Monday.com and manage dashboards as needed in order to provide contracts lifecycle data for Monthly Playbook, QBR meetings, and other internal meetings
• Work in collaboration with the various internal teams regarding the details of each contract
• Track expiring contract dates and consult internal teams regarding renewal or replacement of expiring contracts
• Assist internal teams by providing documentation and/or contract details while managing and maintaining requested documents
• File all finalized contracts on the company’s cloud-based storage platform (i.e., Box) in an organized manner so that authorized people in the organization can easily access them for reference
• Work with Corporate Counsel on updates and enhancements to all legal-related processes and corresponding documentation
• Develop, execute, and continuously improve legal processes, implementing automation and AI tools where possible
• Be a self-starter, with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Enjoy working autonomously

You Have:

• 3 years of experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of legal agreements
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Experience with contract management platforms, ideally Monday.com
• A passion for process improvement and efficiency; experience with AI and automation tools is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading projects and meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Solid understanding of contracts and ability to issue spot when reviewing various types of agreements
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to prioritize tasks and client matters, and to adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed
• Solid organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates, and other contractual deadlines
• Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office but has a global reach.
