About the Role: as a member of the daytime safety consultant team, this resource will support field construction sites across hotels and other site refurbishments/upgrades.
The Construction Safety positions serve as the key technical resource and are responsible for the implementation and sustainment of key safety programs for their designated businesses. Exceptional candidates will have a proven track record of independently driving above average incident reduction results achieved through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics.
Basic Qualifications
Must Haves: Must have strong OSHA knowledge, site construction safety management experience, experience managing 3rd party vendors/General Contractors, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties. Must have experience with risk assessments, safety plans, investigations, technical evaluations and technical reviews. Functions independently and therefore must have strong communication skills to keep leadership appraised of activity, issues, and concerns. Must have experience with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
This role requires excellent time management, and the flexibility to modify one's schedule during the workday to accommodate changing priorities. This role will be required to partner with Safety Services to effectively communicate safety concerns, issues, and best practices. The role requires standing and walking for 8 or more hours; working in inclement weather; wearing appropriate personal protective equipment; lifting/carrying; climbing steps, ladders, and scaffolds. Exceptional candidates will have a proven track record of independently driving above average incident reduction results achieved through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics.
Experience: 7-10 yrs. of relevant experience.
Special requirement: Requesting proof of two employer reference checks - 1 at time of presentation of resume to client and 1 at time of interview.
Required Education 4 Yr. Bachelor's Degree is required - no exceptions
Additional Information Interview Process: Two steps - 1) panel int. w/ Safety Team Leaders & 2) panel int. w/ FAM (Facility Asset Management) Partners & Safety Liaison.
