REVVITY is Hiring a Research Associate I - Immunoassay (LEGENDplex) Near San Diego, CA
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for supporting immunoassay products development and manufacturing in the Biomarker Immunoassay group. The Research Associate will be involved in all aspects of the product development processes including designing, initiating, testing, troubleshooting, testing materials manufacturing, technical instruction transferring, and product launching. More specifically, he or she will be working with an experienced scientist on testing new hybridoma clones, qualifying the raw materials used for immunoassay products manufacturing and new immunoassay product development and launching.
These immunoassay products may allow simultaneously detection of up to 13 important biomarkers for inflammatory diseases, stem cells, cancer, cardiovascular disease or neuron degenerative diseases, and will be very useful tools for the biomedical research community. This position is a great opportunity for gaining working experiences in growing business in a fast-pace biotech industrial environment. He or she will be able to manage the assigned function and tasks with great communication skills in a timely manner with independence after appropriate training.

- Under proper supervision, execute the following development tasks: evaluated antibodies, proteins and screening antibody pairs. Optimize assay conditions, trouble shooting and design relative biological experiments to validate the utility of the new products
- Document development activity and production records following SOPs and design plans. Develop new products under ISO13485:2016
- Work with manufacture and QC group to ensure proper production transfer and QC
- Support manufacturing and QC, assist in trouble-shooting and raw material qualification
- Assist with customer support by performing trouble-shooting experiments when needed. Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor in a timely manner.
- Actively participating in lab meetings and present data.
- Contribute to scientific discussions and collaborations
- BS in a Biology, Chemistry or other related field
- Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with immunoassays or other functional assays
- Working experience in a manufacturing or product development setting in compliance with ISO9001/ISO14835 standards
