ReyCon is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Plymouth, MA

Job Overview

The Construction Project Manager, (PM), is responsible for providing overall management direction of assigned projects. This senior manager is expected to safely complete projects on time and within budget, while always prioritizing client communications, sub-contractor partnerships and a strong working relationship with project superintendents/fellow employees. The Construction Project Manager is expected to always be out front of Project risks, challenges and opportunities identified in the scope and prosecution of the work. The construction Project Manager is ReyCon’s primary point of contact with each client; design team(s) and trade partner(s), so it is important all interactions are conducted in a professional manner that reflects the company’s guiding principles.

  • Duties

-Ensure all work is completed in a safe and legal manner, without risk to well being of the work force, members of the public and environment.

  • -Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company’s Safety Program. Take immediate corrective action when necessary. Immediately report accidents and near misses to VP Construction and company President.
  • -Ensure Construction Documents (Plans, Specifications, ASI’s, RFI’s, SK’s, etc.) are properly curated by APM; and made available to pertinent parties in a timely manner.
  • -Manage projects by coordinating with on-site Superintendent to ensure projects are built within budget and on schedule. Identify and personally manage project challenges and opportunities.
  • -Solicit subcontractor proposals, identify scope gaps and ensure there is appropriate subcontractor coverage. Visit project sites weekly to monitor progress against plans/specs.
  • -Manage project budget including subcontracts, purchase orders, and equipment rental.
  • -Review job cost reports and maintain accurate and timely cost reporting. Submit monthly invoices to clients on time. Collect receivables within contract terms.
  • -Collaborate with APM to keep job costs information current, including budget, adjustments for estimate to complete, trade and vendor award information, change order information etc.
  • -Process monthly requisitions for client(s) and meet with Owner’s Representative(s) to secure their approval, including associated change orders.
  • -Process subcontractor and vendor invoices related to managed projects.
  • -Ensure account receivable and account payable processes are managed in accordance with Prompt Pay statutes.
  • -Monitor corporate subcontracting policies relative to collection of insurance certificates, release of liens, final payment certificate requisitioning, etc.
  • -Review, save and share safety reports issued by CRM
  • -Review, save and share all field reports issued by Third-Parties, Architect or EOR
  • -Create and update project schedule on weekly basis
  • -Create Cash Flow reports in MS Project when required
  • -Create and track allowances via Allowance Log
  • -Issue Award Letters and Projects Subcontracts/POs
  • -Create and issue buyout savings COs
  • -Create and issue owner contracts with all required exhibits

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction project management

- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft project and Bluebeam

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Solid knowledge of project management principles

- Effective communication and leadership abilities

- Experience working on construction sites is preferred
