Responsibilities

Compensation: $18.00 per Hour

Position Summary:

The Repack Associate performs various duties that focus in the breakage area, along with maintenance and cleaning duties, etc. This position repacks and identifies out-of-date products.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

• Repack product in the breakage area
• Prepare and package materials, units, and products for shipments
• Identify and handle out-of-date product
• Complete pre-trip inspection for power equipment
• Operate power equipment
• Control and drive a forklift truck in order to move large crates or containers of goods
• Load or unload items off transportation vehicles as needed
• Maintain safe transfer of materials and check assigned equipment
• Ensure the efficient transport of products to the proper location, based on schedules while handling documents of daily inventory of supplies and checks
• Inspect own work
• Review product to determine if recoverable
• Sort incoming product, i.e., glass, plastic and canned beverages
• Execute computer transactions and associated paperwork to update inventory status, i.e., receiving, picking, etc.
• Locate products from various locations through the warehouse
• Perform maintenance and cleaning duties including cleaning up spilled product
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Minimum of 18 years old
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Quality-focused mindset
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• HS Diploma/GED
• 0 to 1 plus years of general warehouse experience
• Forklift certified
