Job Description: Field Supervisor

Location: Atlanta Metropolitan Area, GA

Position Overview: RFI Security is seeking a proactive and reliable Roving Utility Security Guard (Field Supervisor) to join our team in the Atlanta area. This position is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of various sites by filling in for guards and supervisors as needed. The role involves performing spot checks at sites during off-peak hours and overseeing the maintenance of company vehicles. Availability is essential as this position requires 24/7 coverage and requires some weekends and late nights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Patrols and Site Coverage:

• Fill in for regular security guards and supervisors at different sites across the Atlanta area.

• Conduct regular patrols and spot checks at sites during non-scheduled times to ensure security standards are maintained.

• Respond to alarms or incidents promptly and effectively.

2. Vehicle Maintenance Oversight:

• Ensure routine maintenance and repairs of company vehicles are completed in a timely manner.

• Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance schedules and inspections.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any issues or repairs needed promptly.

3. Emergency Response and Incident Management:

• Act as a first responder during emergencies or security incidents.

• Report incidents and maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security-related activities, including patrols, incidents, and maintenance logs.

• Prepare written reports on incidents and observations as required by company protocols.

5. Training and Compliance:

• Stay informed about security policies, procedures, and protocols at each of RFI’s Locations under your scope.

• Participate in ongoing training programs related to security practices and emergency response.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are advantageous.

• Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a roving or supervisory role.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform security patrols on foot and in company vehicles.

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements:

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Willingness to travel to different sites within the Atlanta metropolitan area.

• Ability to adapt to changing environments and responsibilities quickly.
