Position Overview
The Executive Director, Client Marketing Operations, RGA Americas is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Client Marketing technology ecosystem, directing how components are applied to marketing efforts and campaigns, and analytics reporting, all in support of the RGA Americas region and its business lines within a fast-paced, results-driven environment. In alignment with the RGA Americas strategy, the individual ensures the regional marketing technology ecosystem is optimized to best execute key marketing campaigns, uncover and share actionable campaign analytics and business insights, and create efficiencies that unlock the team's ability to focus on efforts that deliver even greater business value. Drives alignment between Client Marketing, RGA Americas business teams, and other RGA regional and corporate teams in efforts to collaboratively and continuously enhance RGA's marketing technology infrastructure, related processes, and overall effectiveness.
Responsibilities
  • Technology : Maintains marketing technology ecosystem, continuously optimizes and advances its capabilities, assesses new technologies that could further enhance effectiveness, and makes recommendations about adding or removing features of existing stack prior to contract renewals. Ecosystem includes regional marketing automation platform, social media employee advocacy system, website builder, webinar platforms, among other systems, as well as their connectivity to other elements of the marketing stack, including CRM and account management system as well as the client events platform.
  • Marketing campaigns : Partners with Client Marketing teammates, the extended RGA Client & Marketing Services team, and other business stakeholders to leverage technology components to best deliver key marketing campaigns and extract campaign-specific analytics that measure campaign effectiveness and highlight business opportunity.
  • Data Analysis : Reviews marketing campaign data from campaigns, as well as analytics by campaign types, from certain time periods, across business lines, by client, by job function, and/or other ways that unearth business insights that shine a light on opportunities or issues and enable suitable business actions as determined in coordination with VP, Client Marketing and others, as appropriate.
  • Reporting : Develops recurring and ad-hoc regional reports for distribution to leadership and account teams. This includes extracting data from our work management platform and other systems to produce data-rich, visually compelling reports that focus on team productivity and time allocations, progress against annual goals and key performance indicators, among other KPIs.
  • Process Improvements : Leads efforts to create efficiencies and streamline processes, such as systems for managing team assets, creating self-service platforms for business stakeholders, and other logical, time-saving, beneficial infrastructure enhancements.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent training.
  • 10 years of experience and demonstrated success in B2B marketing, B2C marketing, sales operations or business operations, business development, sales enablement, marketing strategy and execution, sales and/or advertising.
  • 5 years of experience in the financial services sector or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of broad business practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide tangible and effective sales and marketing support resulting in the achievement of business growth strategy objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing technology, including marketing automation platforms, CRMs, websites and mobile apps, social media tools, webinar platforms, among others.
  • Experience with presentation programs, including PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Analytics, planning, and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey sophisticated business concepts to all stakeholders, including clients and associates. Proven ability to apply these skills with strong business acumen to complex situations with competing priorities.
  • Ability to create and utilize a strong network of organizations and individuals to harness the strengths/capabilities necessary to execute a successful marketing communications strategy.
  • Ability to foster a teamwork and customer service focused environment.
  • Advanced persuasion skills when working with internal/external customers to resolve issues/problems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in implementing change, ensuring understanding, participation, and ownership.
  • Advanced ability to investigate, analyze and solve complex problems/issues.
  • Experience with market sizing, client segmentation, and market share analysis.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills.
  • Travel as required.
Preferred:
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Insurance or financial services license or designation (e.g., FLMI, CLU)
  • Life reinsurance or insurance-related experience.
