Overview: As an Industrial Maintenance Coordinator, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of industrial machinery and equipment within a facility. You will coordinate maintenance activities, prioritize tasks, and work closely with maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime. This position requires a hands-on approach, technical aptitude, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:

· Collaborate with production and operations teams to plan and schedule maintenance activities.

· Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize and assign tasks to maintenance technicians, ensuring timely completion of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Team Coordination:

· Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team.

· Provide hands-on support and guidance to technicians, assisting with troubleshooting, organization and repairs.

Technical Expertise:

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment.

Inventory Management:

· Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance activities.

· Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary supplies.

· Ordering parts and supplies.

Safety Compliance:

· Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations within the maintenance department.

· Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Strong background in MMS and administration.

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories.

· Generate reports detailing maintenance performance and resource utilization.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or training are a plus.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with computer applications and maintenance management software is beneficial.
