Summary/Objective:

Rhenium Alloys, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of refractory metals and high temperature products, located near Cleveland, Ohio. The operator is responsible for fabricating and assembling parts, pieces, and products in a sequential process using an array of tools and equipment. Rhenium Alloys Inc. emphasizes the quality and accuracy of all our products, so an operator will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of their work to ensure they meet specifications.

Essential Functions:

1. Must be trustworthy, honest, and loyal to all customers, management, and personnel

2. Assemble each product according to specifications

3. Conduct quality assurance checks using the unaided eye, rulers, and other instrumentation to confirm the assembled product meets the quality standards of Rhenium Alloys Inc. and the specifications of the customer

4. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment

5. Complete required quality and production forms

6. Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly

7. Follow all quality and safety standards and procedures

8. Ability to meet daily production requirements

9. Willingness to adapt to changes in work as needed

10. Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictate

11. Ability to monitor, direct and document the training of new employees

12. Monitor and reward progress of all employees in your production area

13. Document and improve production yields

14. Monitor technical operating equipment and trouble shoot and/or shut down when necessary (ex. Centorr’s, etc.)

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

• Ability to see and work with small diameter wire, parts, and subassemblies
• Ability to sit for long periods of time

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Regular hours of work and days are Monday through Thursday (10-hour days). Overtime may be mandatory when demand requires.

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
