We are seeking a qualified and dedicated medical biller to join our office. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. We are open to full or part time.

To succeed in this role, you must possess in-depth knowledge of medical insurance policies. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as communicating with patients and various insurance companies will form a large part of the job.

Medical Biller Responsibilities:

• Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
• Ensuring the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
• Preparing bills and invoices, and documenting amounts due for medical procedures and services.
• Collecting and reviewing referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Following up on missed payments and resolving financial discrepancies.
• Examining patient bills for accuracy and requesting any missing information.
• Investigating and appealing denied claims.
• Working A/R report and patient collections.

Medical Biller Requirements:

• Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Minimum 2 years medical billing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.94 - $18.91 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
