Responsibilities:
- Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, laminate, hardwood, and carpet
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, leveling surfaces, and repairing any damage
- Lay out flooring patterns and designs according to blueprints or customer specifications
- Install baseboards, trim, and other finishing touches
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
- Caulk and seal joints to ensure a waterproof and durable finish

Skills:
- Experience in the restoration industry is a plus
- Proficiency in cabinet installation and trim carpentry
- Knowledge of construction estimating for accurate material calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for precise installation
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in flooring installation
- Excellent problem-solving skills to overcome challenges during installation
