Req) DescriptionOur client in the electronics manufacturing industry is looking for a District Sales Manager to join their team in Chicago, IL. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and managing the outside sales team to maintain current customers and acquire new accounts. You will track opportunities and lead and manage the RFQ and quoting process to ensure quotes are submitted on time and are followed up on. Our client is looking for someone with strong communication and organizational/management skills and an understanding of electronics/ electrical components. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to hold others accountable, and willing to take initiative. District Sales Manager (Electronic/Electrical Sales Exp. Req) ResponsibilitiesManage, lead, and develop the outside sales team of 6 sales professionals
Develop and implement strategies to maintain current customers and acquire new accounts
Prepare short-term and long-term sales plans for each account
Support quotations within key accounts
Follow up on quotes and RFQs
Leverage the CRM to manage a funnel of opportunities
Meet with customers to understand their objectives and requirements
Develop relationships, recommend new products, and obtain customer feedback on products
Work with the Customer Service Dept. to expedite the resolution of customer problems
Meet annual goals and measurable non-revenue objectives
District Sales Manager (Electronic/Electrical Sales Exp. Req) Qualifications3 years of industrial, electronic, or electrical product sales experience required
1 years of management experience required
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
