Rhythm Healthcare is Hiring a Human Resources Director Near Trenton, NJ

Rhythm Healthcare is seeking a Human Resources Director. Over the past 4 years, Rhythm Healthcare has experienced dynamic growth, providing respiratory and durable medical equipment to healthcare service providers (DME Service providers, specialty physicians and physical therapists). We're expanding our team to provide exceptional service to our internal and external customers.

The Human Resource Director is responsible for planning, developing, and executing the HR policies and activities of the organization. The Human Resource Director must ensure legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s values. This position reports directly to the CEO, however this is a department of one initially. Thus, the ideal candidate must have a strong history of excelling in an individual contributor role. 

This position will be a hybrid role -- working 75% from our Manhattan, NY office and requires 25% travel to our other offices in Clearwater, FL, Memphis, TN and Corona, CA.

Compensation reflected in this posting is a combination of salary and variable compensation opportunities. A complete benefits package is offered including 401K with employer match.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Constantly demonstrate, preserve, and hire for the Core Values of Rhythm Healthcare.

2. Monitor and facilitate improvement of company’s internal Employee Engagement Score.

3. Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team to establishment consistent IPD’s and KPI’s through the organization. 

4. Develops processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.

5. Work with Senior Leadership Team to create an environment of constant improvement and the organization’s development.

6. Oversees the administration and execution of human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

7. Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.

8. Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

9. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; uses this knowledge to communicate policy, practice, and resource changes to upper management.

10. Develop and implement the departmental budget.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the month, as we have offices in CA, TN, and FL.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years of human resource management experience is required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
