KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Asset Managers and Analysts to learn how prepare cash flow models, valuation analysis, property proformas, as well as the preparation of Business Plans and/or Hold vs. Sell Analyses. Learn how to perform analysis of property operations including review of budgets, operating statements, rent rolls, traffic reports, capital improvements, and third party property reports. Prepare and coordinate research market comparables, sales, leasing transactions, and activity affecting local real estate markets utilizing internal and external resources including real estate brokers and industry experts and daily news articles. Learn the life of a CMBS loan. SPECIFICATIONS Current undergraduate Junior or first semester Senior within an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program studying Real Estate, Finance, Economics or similar Passion for real estate Highly analytical and collaborative Strong work ethic and organizational abilities Proficiency in Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Eagerness to learn While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop.
