Description
Principle Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key accounts to boost market share and promote growth.
  • Identify opportunities in the market and develop sales/revenue strategies for key accounts.
  • Generate prospects and leads and innovative project ideas at Key Accounts
  • Develop, analyze, and present monthly/annual territory forecasts and action plans and provide market condition information to sales team.
  • Anticipate key account customer pain points to deliver customized solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessment of market competitors and trends.
  • Continually review current existing pricing, and devise pricing strategies to enable market share growth.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales team to provide detailed and complete quotation bid packages based on project specifications and customer requirements within deadline parameters.
  • Ensure our Product Lines are listed as preferred suppliers for key accounts.
  • Promote Richards product lines in the market by highlighting unique value propositions.
  • Work with Marketing team to develop compelling marketing materials to support product lines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a Key Account Manager, Business Development, Valve Sales, or equivalent role.
  • Excellent understanding of the sales process and the ability to close sales.
  • Proven track record in Large Account Management Planning.
  • Technically minded, with strong knowledge of valve industry and product applications.
  • Experience using market analysis tools to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Experience in the Pharma industry preferred.
  • Prior experience with domestic/international travel (50%)
