Description Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors in bathroom, break room and office areas.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
- Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
- Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
- Timely notification to Maintenance and Supervision of equipment problem.
- Notify Supervision of actual or potential problems.
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervision.
- Responsible for over-all compliance with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.
- Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Other duties as may be assigned by Management or volunteered for.
Competencies Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance procedures a variety of instructions, diagrams or schedules.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Work Environment The employee is frequently exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of the production shift; talk or hear; use hands or finger to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is infrequently required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Sanitation Staff works, 8 hours shifts, Monday through Friday and Saturday.
