Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Land Acquisition Specialist to join our Northern California Division team. In this position you will play a key role in supporting the identification and analysis of new communities for Richmond American Homes. The Land Department is fast-paced, with a very deadline and results oriented culture.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comparative Market Analyses.
- Prepare Market Summaries for Corporate Submittals.
- Prepare Quarterly Market and Economic Statistics Reports.
- Prepare High Quality Maps.
- Prepare Effective Graphical Representations of Information.
- Create Presentations.
- Track Escrows and Project Schedules.
- Assist in all Land Closing Activities.
- Prepare Land Tour Packages.
- Gather, Compile and Analyze Information and Due Diligence Materials to Complete Research for Potential Projects.
- Assist in Due Diligence Work.
- Review Title Reports.
- Track Future Acquisition Opportunities.
Requirements
- BA / BS degree in Real Estates, Finance, Civil Engineering, Planning or GIS.
- 3 – 5 years related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully perform and complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advance skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- Candidates with documented experience in the Northern California market are highly preferred.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Bonus Type: Year End Discretionary
