Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Land Acquisition Specialist to join our Northern California Division team. In this position you will play a key role in supporting the identification and analysis of new communities for Richmond American Homes. The Land Department is fast-paced, with a very deadline and results oriented culture.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Comparative Market Analyses.
  • Prepare Market Summaries for Corporate Submittals.
  • Prepare Quarterly Market and Economic Statistics Reports.
  • Prepare High Quality Maps.
  • Prepare Effective Graphical Representations of Information.
  • Create Presentations.
  • Track Escrows and Project Schedules.
  • Assist in all Land Closing Activities.
  • Prepare Land Tour Packages.
  • Gather, Compile and Analyze Information and Due Diligence Materials to Complete Research for Potential Projects.
  • Assist in Due Diligence Work.
  • Review Title Reports.
  • Track Future Acquisition Opportunities.

Requirements

  • BA / BS degree in Real Estates, Finance, Civil Engineering, Planning or GIS.
  • 3 – 5 years related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully perform and complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advance skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Candidates with documented experience in the Northern California market are highly preferred.

  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to handle different projects concurrently.
  • Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented, results oriented, self-starter and takes initiative to address issues.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year End Discretionary
