Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration of human resources items as outlined below.This role supervises any additional HR employees and is the on-site HR leader for the corporate office.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
·Provides HR leadership in the following areas
oHR Strategy
oEmployee Relations & employment law matters
oPolicy review, creation and execution
oCross functional collaboration and support for operations leaders
oLeads annual benefits review, renewal, open enrollment, etc
oCompensation planning & administration
oCollaboration with workers compensation matters
·Oversight of the following duties and responsibilities, which may be performed with assistance from additional HR staff
oGeneral HR Administration
oCompliance Assistance
oLeave of Absence & Return to Work Administration
oCore Benefits Administration
oOnboarding & Offboarding Management
·Other duties as assigned
Experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
·Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
·Ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm
·Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
·Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees and management
·Ability to work independently of direct supervision
·Ability to meet deadlines working within tight time
·Prioritize and handle multiple tasks
·Handle a large volume of work and/or phone calls
·Well organized and detail oriented
·Display a willingness to work as a team player
·Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize their importance
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
·Bachelor of Business Administration with concentration in Human Resources Management (or related field) from an accredited school required
·SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred
Essential Physical Job Functions
·Frequent use of computer, fax, printer
·Ability to lift 5-10lbs
·Ability to sit for extended periods of time
