Overview:

Rigaku Semiconductor Metrology Division is seeking a Senior Algorithm Software Developer to support Rigaku’s X-ray metrology products. This position will work closely with the product development teams and application support.

Responsibilities

• Develop physics simulation and data fitting applications for x-ray analysis tools.
• Design of intuitive UI for complex x-ray analysis workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and domain experts, to understand requirements and identify algorithmic solutions to complex data analysis challenges.
• Provide data processing algorithm development support for Rigaku semiconductor metrology tools utilizing a variety of X-ray analytical techniques, e.g. X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray reflectometry (XRR), and X-ray imaging tools.
• Support the Rigaku Service and Application teams for new tool installations and perform deep dive analysis to help customers troubleshoot data processing issues as needed.
• Provide support to the Rigaku Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Work to understand customer application requirements and objectives, and act as technical consultant for product demonstrations.
• Maintain positive, productive work relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Ph.D or M.S. in Computer Science, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering fields.
• Minimum of three years of work experience as developing ML image classification and outlier detection tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, C#, or C .
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions for complex data processing challenges.
• Proficient in data analysis techniques and skills, including a working knowledge of statistics and statistical process control.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Ability to speak at an intermediate level in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Hebrew is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
