Since 1927, Riggs Cat has served the state of Arkansas as the Caterpillar Equipment and Service provider. Our business is family owned and employs roughly four hundred and fifty Arkansans. One hundred of whom have been with the company for over twenty years. We have eight locations around the state and over 60 parts drop boxes to accommodate our overnight parts delivery service. The WIP Analyst will perform the bulk of the administrative functions involved in processing work orders including closing, invoicing, and assisting warranty department as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Open, close, and maintain work orders for all locations
  • Provide work order support for all admin personnel
  • Utilize standard jobs/flat rates when building a work order
  • Verify warranty status
  • Identify service letters
  • Add additional segments as requested by Service
  • Understand warranty
  • Analyze work orders and segment accordingly
  • Add/Delete employees in BMTS
  • Print Pro formas/Invoices
  • Close a PM using PM Scheduler
  • Complete DPC training as assigned
  • Provide support for service operations across the enterprise

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • High school diploma or GED. 2 years administrative or clerical experience preferred. (working in service operations or service department atmosphere is a plus)
  • Individual must be detail oriented, accurate, well organized and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Above average computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and master various software systems that are key tools to perform duties
  • This position requires a pro-active, problem-solving individual who is able to manage a varied workload with constantly changing priorities.
  • Must have excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and operate a Windows based computer.
  • Must be able to meet expectations of the position with minimal guidance or supervision.
