Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
- Maintains a customer service orientation.
- Makes outbound follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to sell products and services.
- Handles inbound sales calls to develop quotes.
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers over the phone or in person.
- Assists customers in choosing the most appropriate product regarding capacity and composition of material to be transported.
- Contact vendors to secure pricing on plows, spreaders, hydraulic systems, tarp systems, toolboxes, ancillary accessories, and equipment that must be sourced.
- Provides customers with estimated delivery dates, and proactively communicates with them if unforeseen circumstances impact when the unit will be completed.
- Coordinates the change order process, determines the feasibility of the requested change, calculates cost, and communicates with customers. If approved coordinates with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing.
- Coordinates the pickup and delivery of units.
- Safely performs duties; wears required PPE when appropriate.
- Observes and complies with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS.
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; 2 to 5 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
