Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
- Receives instructions from the Foreman or Materials Manager to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination
- Counts weighs, and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.
- Operates industrial truck and crane to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Operates forklift
- Identifies raw materials and their storage locations
- Document material moves within the warehouse.
- Reviews bill of material and work orders.
- Pulls material and kits into bins for specific work orders.
- Safely perform duties; wear required PPE at all times.
- Observes and complies with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS.
- Vocational/technical training needed or a High school diploma or general education degree with work experience in an industrial manufacturing or paint shop setting.
