Job Summary:
Right at Home - Charleston, SC is currently seeking a full-time, experienced CNA or Caregiver for our Moncks Corner clients. This individual will provide personal care and companionship services to clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in home healthcare and a passion for helping seniors and those with disabilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $25, as well as opportunities for overtime and bonuses. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services such as assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, laundry, and changing bed linens
- Provide transportation for errands, appointments, and social outings
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients’ conditions and report any changes to the care team
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Continuously ensure client comfort, dignity, and respect
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA or Caregiver, preferably in a home healthcare setting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Must be able to lift and transfer clients as needed
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to provide two professional references
