As a distinguished non-profit organization, we specialize in delivering top-tier early education across Tippecanoe (Lafayette, West Lafayette), Jasper (Rensselaer, Remington), and Newton (Goodland) Counties, operating seven licensed child care centers. Right now, we are seeking dedicated and passionate Co-Director to join our team located in Creasy, Lafayette, IN:

As a Co-Director, You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Center cost-effectively and efficiently. They ensure that the curriculum and programming adhere to all internal (Right Steps) and external (Licensing, Accreditation, etc.) quality assurance standards. Additionally, the Center Director manages staff and staff-related issues, oversees and manages Center finances and budget, and ensures that all aspects of the program meet quality, safety, and development requirements and initiatives at all times. They are also responsible for maintaining Center enrollment and promoting Center and Agency initiatives and programs to parents, families, and the general public.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Oversee all aspects of Center Program Management.
  • Manage all Center finances, including but not limited to providing accurate billing to clients; collecting payments timely; approving employee timesheets, expense reports, and mileage reimbursements; and administering all programs in accordance with the Center budget.
  • Supervise, coach, mentor, develop, and evaluate all Center employees.
  • Promote community and family engagement; act as a liaison between the Center and the community in an effort to increase awareness and interest in Agency and Center initiatives and services.
  • Communicate with parents, employees, volunteers, vendors, and supervisors in a way that encourages mutual respect, support, and collaboration.
Other Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all staff and child records are current and in accordance with State and Federal laws, Licensing, Accreditation, and Agency policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all records and/or information in compliance with State and Federal laws, Licensing, Accreditation, and Agency policy.
  • Provide an environment that is free of harassment, tolerant, and respectful of child and family cultures, values, and differences.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and in a way that allows for the most efficient execution of tasks.
  • Establish and maintain a healthy, safe, and fun working environment.
  • Abide by the NAEYC code of ethics.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Schedule:
Full-time (full-year- 40 Hours per week), Monday- Friday, Dayshift
