A large healthcare conglomerate based in the greater New York area is making strides in a number of specialized practices within the always evolving industry. They are committed to providing top care and their rapid growth is a sign of their success. They are looking for a Medical Scribe who will work closely with healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in real-time. This is an onsite position based in White Plains, NY.

Medical Scribe’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Accurately document patient medical histories, symptoms, and physical exam findings during clinical encounters.
• Transcribe physician-dictated notes and instructions into electronic medical records (EMRs) or paper charts.
• Assist healthcare providers with navigating EMR systems and locating pertinent patient information.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Medical Scribe’s Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Previous experience working in a medical setting, such as a hospital or clinic, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficiency in typing and computer skills, including experience with EMR systems.
