Our client is a prominent company specializing in marine transportation, ship docking, and more. They offer a wide range of towing services and have a strong presence in multiple ports across the nation. They are committed to providing top care and their rapid growth is a sign of their success. They are looking to take on a Service Desk Specialist who will provide over the phone and remote support. This is an onsite position based in Jacksonville, FL.

Service Desk Specialist’s Responsibilities and Duties

• Resolving incoming client and personnel IT queries remotely via email and phone, or at the office.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and facilitate request fulfillment for our client's platforms and systems
• Prioritizing and resolving IT concerns and escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as resource and escalation point for other Service Desk specialists.
• Provide outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.

Service Desk Specialist’s Qualifications and Skills

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
• At least two years' of professional experience in an IT performance analysis and end-user support role.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) and task management software.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• This position will require some travel. The ideal candidate will need to have reliable access to a vehicle.
