Rightworks Inc. is Hiring a Millwright Near Anniston, AL

**Position Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our maintenance team at our foundry. The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Installation and Maintenance:**

- Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.

- **Troubleshooting:**

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems.

- Use various hand and power tools to repair or replace defective parts.

- **Preventive Maintenance:**

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.

- Lubricate, clean, and adjust machinery and equipment as part of regular maintenance routines.

- **Safety and Compliance:**

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

- **Documentation:**

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment condition.

- Document any changes or modifications made to machinery or equipment.

- **Collaboration:**

- Work closely with other maintenance personnel, production staff, and engineers to address maintenance and operational issues.

- Provide training and guidance to junior millwrights and other team members as needed.

- **Education:**

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.

- **Experience:**

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a millwright in a foundry or similar industrial setting, preferably in a foundry.

- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and maintenance practices.

- **Skills:**

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- **Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to [50] pounds.

- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying temperatures.

- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

**Work Environment:**

- This position involves working in a foundry environment with exposure to loud noise, heat, and dust.

- Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

**Compensation:**

- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
