Full-time Business Analyst/Product Owner Consultant Position

Riley Consulting is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst/Product Owner. This role will be part of a consulting team working at a large state of CA project.

This person will work as part of a large agile team on a state of CA IT project. Their responsibilities will include analyzing existing business process and creating requirements and user stories to identify new system requirements. This person will conduct gap analysis, where needed, facilitate JAD sessions, and look for opportunities to reengineer business processes. Further, this person will assist the state Product Owners in prioritizing and maintaining story backlogs.

This is a remote position, though occasional travel to the client site in Sacramento may be required.

Required Qualifications

Desirable

• State of CA IT project experience.
• A valid and current business analyst’s certification, through an accredited entity such as the International Institute of Business Analysis or the Project Management Institute.
