Company Description

Riley Exploration Permian, Inc. (NYSE American: REPX) is headquartered in Oklahoma City and is focused on capital efficiency and the steady growth of its reserves, production and cash flow through the acquisition, exploration, development and production of reserves primarily within the Permian Basin that strategically fit our corporate objectives. REPX’s acreage is primarily located on large, contiguous blocks in Yoakum County, Texas and Eddy County, New Mexico.

Position:Financial Analyst

Location: Hybrid schedule in our Oklahoma City, OK office

Role Description

Key contributor in financial planning group providing substantive insight and contributions into budgeting, forecasting and overall company strategy. Conducts and documents moderate to complex financial, economic and statistical analysis. Develops financial plans in conformance with corporate objectives and long-term planning. Performs complex analysis of potential acquisitions and divestitures of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Update monthly variance reports and compare to public guidance

· Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support

· Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators relating to financial metrics

· Maintain financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

· Maintain the corporate activity model and update based on changes provided by operations and management

· Prepare monthly/quarterly presentations and reports for management

· Run multiple forecast scenarios to provide guidance for operational decision making

· Aid in ad hoc projects related to acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures

Skills and Competencies

· Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills

· Advanced numeracy

· Diplomatic interpersonal skills to liaise with team members across different departments

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software

· Familiarity with databases and their functionality

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills to maintain both digital and hard copy files

· Ability to multitask on several different projects for different team member while being able to prioritize and meet deadlines

Required Qualifications

· 4 years’ Relevant Experience

· Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
