REPX’s acreage is primarily located on large, contiguous blocks in Yoakum County, Texas and Eddy County, New Mexico.

Position: Operations Engineering Tech

Location: Hybrid schedule in our Oklahoma City, OK office

Role Description

Performs basic operational analytical activities. Researches and gathers data, prepares reports, manages various databases, creates, and analyzes spreadsheets, reports information to various departments both internal and external to the company, and provides moderately complex technical, analytical, and financial support to the Engineering staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Provide quality control and assurance for the well data management.

· Maintain well information - drilling, completions, workover, and production - in various applications and spreadsheets, including but not limited to, job creation in software.

· Monitor daily reports and job audits, collaborating with field personnel to make corrections timely.

· Translate physical & electronic well files to create accurate wellbore diagrams in software.

· Identify and implement process improvements related to existing engineering workflows.

· Assist with the integration of acquisitions (and divestitures) as it relates to all Operational data.

· Assist engineers in data research through a review of internal files, offset operator activity, compilation of public and partner data for internal use, including but not limited to, the preparation of procedures, analyses, evaluations, and presentations, as needed.

· Prepare presentations or reports for well reviews, job lookbacks, budgeting, accruals, and other special projects.

· Track and update schedules based upon operational activity, including the rig schedule.

· Offer user support and training of the Operations applications for consultants and new users within the organization.

· Cover urgent requests in the absence of other team members.

· Supply information for regulatory documents for permitting, reporting, & inspections.

· Direct the AFE approval process and assist with AFE supplement justifications.

· Develop and maintain departmental visualization tools, dashboards, and reports.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Skills and Competencies

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and Peloton products: WellView, SiteView, RigView.

· Familiarity with databases and their functionality, experience with SQL, API, &/or Snowflake, preferred.

· Experience navigating external applications and software including IHS Enerdeq, Enverus (DrillingInfo), PDS Energy, ArcGIS, preferred.

· Working knowledge of drilling, completions, production and well-work operations in oil and gas.

· Experience in the Permian Basin and Federal land, helpful but not required.

· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a desire to learn new technology.

· Effectively and persuasively communicates in written, verbal, and presentation forms with internal personnel from the field to the office, department to department, and external audiences outside of the REPX organization such as partners, vendors, or regulatory agencies.

· Excellent organizational skills with a positive, results-driven orientation.

· Ability to multi-task on several different projects for different team members while being able to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.

· Self-motivated with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to team development.

· Displays a willingness and ability to work independently and effectively across departments and with all levels of the organization while building and maintaining trust.
