Top rated law firm Riling, Burkhead and Nitcher is seeking an associate attorney for flexible position with the firm. Position can be full or part time. Salary commensurate with experience and position. Full time position will receive benefits. Riling, Burkhead, and Nitcher is a 124-year-old law firm dedicated to providing the highest quality legal representation for our clients. We are currently seeking an associate attorney to work at our office in downtown Lawrence or work remotely.

Qualifications:

• Law degree from an accredited university;

• License to practice in Kansas in good standing.

• Computer skills needed

• Phone communication skills are important

• Accuracy and the ability to handle a high-volume of work in a fast-paced environment efficiently;

• Professional demeanor and ability to work as part of a team while also being able to work independently; and

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills needed.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the associate attorney position are to provide phone advice to clients on a variety of legal issues. This position operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and very high standards.

Full-Time:

The full-time position is Monday - Friday, minimum hours 8:30-5:00pm. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, 401k, paid holidays, paid sick and vacation time, and group life insurance.

Part-Time:

The part time position is flexible but must have availability to work some days between 8:30-5:00 Monday- Friday. Part time position has no benefits package.
