We are looking for an Accounting Manager, Corporate to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable accounting standards.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical financial data and insights into future financial trends.
• Lead and mentor a team of corporate accountants, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering professional development.
• Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations and journal entries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Strengthen internal control procedures and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, identifying and addressing control gaps as needed.
• Provide expert guidance on complex technical accounting matters, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of accounting standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with finance and business leaders to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Extensive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial reporting systems and software.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to the organization's financial strategy.
