Job DescriptionOur growing Columbus client is seeking a Azure Network Lead. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure network architecture and management, aligning with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

- Design, implement, and manage Azure network solutions to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
- Lead the development and deployment of Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and other networking components.
- Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Security Center.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, system administrators, and developers to integrate network solutions with cloud and on-premises environments.
- Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for Azure network infrastructure and operations.
- Conduct network capacity planning and performance analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and other IT team members.
- Stay updated on the latest Azure networking technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in network administration with a strong focus on Azure networking solutions.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
- Proficiency in designing and managing Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and related networking services.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and experience with firewalls, NSGs, and Azure Security Center.
- Experience with network performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) for network management is a plus.
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices and Agile methodologies is a plus.
