Our client located in Columbus is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer . The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse architecture to meet business requirements.
- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to populate data warehouses from various source systems.
- Optimize and tune data warehouse performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data models, data flows, and data warehouse processes.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within the data warehouse environment.
- Monitor data warehouse performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Data Engineering experience with a focus on data warehousing
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design.
