We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and that financial statements are accurate and timely
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring that financial goals are achieved
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements
• Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their jobs effectively
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Stay current on accounting standards and regulations, and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 6 years of experience in accounting or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong leadership and management skills
