RISE Housing and Support Services is Hiring a Supported Housing Supervisor Near Saratoga Springs, NY

Job Description

RISE Housing and Support Services is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, self-motivated leader, to oversee the daily operations of the supported housing apartments at our Riverview and Dominic Hollow locations. A successful candidate will be able to inspire staff to help our residents manage the life challenges their mental health and/or substance use diagnoses have presented, while maintaining a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment.

RISE offers a Supported Housing Supervisor:

A rate of $24 to $26.50 per hour on a 36-hour workweek

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the ESSHI (Empire State Supported Housing Initiative) programs at Dominic Hollow and Riverview in collaboration with the Program Director
Providing supportive services and ensuring a safe and supportive environment
Managing escalated and crisis situations and utilizing community resources as appropriate
Supervising program staff
Modeling positive and appropriate behaviors for staff and participants
Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures

To qualify you must have:

An Associate Degree in human services or a related field and 1 years of experience working with sensitive populations
1 years of leadership experience
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
An ability to operate independently, think on your feet, and follow your training
Excellent crisis management and dispute resolution skills
Strong interpersonal boundaries

Successful completion of RISE background checks, a valid driver’s license and a driving history acceptable to the RISE automobile policy
