Duties:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a childcare setting.
- Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote childhood development
- Supervise and engage children in play, educational activities, and outdoor playtime
- Assist with mealtime, including preparing and serving snacks or meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility or classroom
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, or working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain Basic First Aid Training, CPR, MAT (Medication Administration Training, Maltreatment Training among other required training modules online.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Additional certifications in childhood development or early childhood education (preferred)
- Must be willing to obtain a physical prior to employment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
