React / React Native Expert/senior level

$130-$150k, additional compensation commensurate with experience.

Initial responsibilities:

• Work with our business teams to develop new features and functionality on the mobile and front-end platform
• Primary focus will be designing modules and writing code for the GroundSwell Mobile App
• Writing code in React Native and expo for IOS and Android
• Building and deploying the code to the app stores
• Ensuring stability and consistency across IOS and Android platforms.
• Working with backend API teams to enable mobile access.
• Writing test cases (unit tests) against React code and/or frontend with tools like Playwright or selenium.
• Assisting with developing our management portal
• Helping other developers on other areas of focus if the need arises front end mobile / management app)
• Be a culture champion, speak up, offer suggestions, challenge the team to always improve.

Near term responsibilities will include:

• Developing the roadmap for the mobile app working closely with business and other development teams.
• Leading a team of developers as the company scales
• Migrating all mobile mapping from mapbox to Here.com
• Improving the mobile build process

Future responsibilities may include:

• Converting / re-factoring our existing management portal to a new technology platform.
