Risus Talent Partners is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Mentor, OH

Our client is seeking a Quality Manager to lead their Quality department. Reporting to the COO, the Quality Manager will oversee all aspects of quality engineering, assurance, and control for their products. This includes ensuring global compliance, analyzing data, reporting trends, and resolving quality and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the quality control system and related programs.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO 13485, 21 CFR §820, MDD 93/42/EEC, and other regulations.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans (CAPA) and investigate nonconforming products.
  • Manage the Returns and Complaint Management process and team.
  • Oversee document control and maintenance.
  • Manage the quality department's annual budget.
  • Liaise with regulatory team members to meet quality standards.
  • Support manufacturing/production teams with quality-related issues.
  • Act as the management representative for ISO and other certifications/audits.
  • Implement quality inspections and measurements to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Facilitate process and sterilization validation activities.
  • Provide statistical sampling and analysis expertise and manage Design History Files and Device Master Records.
  • Develop and track quality system measurements and report performance and trends to management.
  • Plan and organize quality and training activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 13485, 21 CFR §820, MDD 93/42/EEC.
  • Experience with Medical Device Design Controls, FMEA, Risk Management, verification and validation, Device Master Records, and Device History Records.
  • Preferred experience with OSHA and other employee health and safety issues.

Travel:

  • Estimated travel is less than 30%, as needed.
