Title: Business Systems Analyst with a background in manual QA testing
Location: 4 days a week onsite and 1-day remote Portland, OR. (Must live in or near Portland, Oregon)
Position Overview: As a Business Systems Analyst with manual QA testing experience, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring the quality of our systems through manual testing. Your expertise will help ensure that our solutions meet business objectives and maintain high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain detailed requirement specifications, including use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet specified requirements and quality standards.
• Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on requirements and design documentation.
• Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis and testing results to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders on project status, testing outcomes, and business analysis findings.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and QA testing.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business systems and QA practices.
