Job Overview:

As part of the rehabilitation team, diagnoses and treats individuals of all ages who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Examines each individual and develops a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Coordinates, supervises, and delegates to supportive staff including Physical Therapist Assistant and Rehab aide. Communicates the organization’s vision within rehab team and interactions with patients; aligns work efforts to support its fulfillment. Performs other duties as assigned at the direction of the Rehabilitation Manager or Director.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification - Required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or MS in Physical Therapy issued by State of New Hampshire, or qualified to take New Hampshire written licensing examination for physical therapists as evidence by letter or statement signed by authorized New Hampshire physical therapy licensing official

Responsibilities:

• Incorporates appropriate assessment and intervention and/or technical skills in all interactions and/or delivery of patient care
• Safety and protection; assessment; intervention/technical skills; evaluation; and equipment use/management
• Communicates with patients, team members, and management in an accurate, timely manner
• Talks with, listens to patients/team members; Reports pertinent, concise information; complete, timely charting; computer charting/ordering; protects confidentiality of patient/colleagues
• Applies critical thinking skills and considers alternatives

Working Hours:

• Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Full-time, 40 hours workweek - Outpatient position, occasional assistance for inpatient as needed/able

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39.00 - $39.33 per hour
