  • Salary-Hourly role, starting at $45,760 per year. $20/per hour with built in 8 hours of overtime paid at time and a half each pay period. Starting rate can increase with education and experience.

Rite of Passage is a leading national provider of programs and opportunities for troubled and at-risk youth from social services, welfare agencies and juvenile courts. ROP has built its reputation on running life-changing educational treatment programs that positively contribute to the community. At Silver Oak, we will be providing services to youth with variety of mental health conditions in a therapeutic residential setting. Daily Expectations And ResponsibilitiesYouth Care Workers provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of youth. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development. Youth Care Workers provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the youth; monitor and document youth behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Youth Care Workers work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each youth’s treatment plan. Youth Care Workers perform standard level paraprofessional work in every aspect of the program operations. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor or designee.
Schedule Is12 hours shifts,
A Shift: Sunday- Tuesday, beginning of shift only (6 hours) on Wednesday.
B Shift: Thursday- Saturday and end of shift only (6 hours) on Wednesday.
Requirements
  • Posess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test.
