RIVER COUNTRY CO-OP is Hiring an Associate Compliance Officer Near Owen, WI

River Country Co-op is currently seeking an Associate Compliance Director that will also hold the titles of Asset Manager and Inventory Specialist. This position will reside in our Owen office location.

Reports to: Compliance Director and Senior Financial Officer

ASSOCIATE COMPLIANCE DIRECTOR 50%

· Work with Compliance director and assist as needed in all safety programs and backup Compliance Director when there are absent or on PTO so there is 24/7 coverage at all times

· Obtain a working knowledge of all regulatory standards from each agency (OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA, EPA, DATCP, FDA, DNR, MSHA, etc…)

· Conduct administrative assistance on all compliance programs

· Conduct on-site educational safety and compliance training in all areas

· Review safety policies and report/correct any deficiencies

· Attend educational seminars and meeting to enhance compliance knowledge

· Assist in compilation of reports to state and federal agencies by required deadlines

· Produce annual safety walk-throughs of all facilities and report concerns to management

· Communicate any legislative updates regarding rules and regulations

· Make sure each vehicle has Insurance auto ID cards

· Facilitate corrections/improvements to facilities that possess a safety hazard

· Assist in facilitating safety committees at each co-op

· Assist management teams from each co-op to be in compliant with all codes and regulations

· Assist the Compliance Director on each co-op related to their safety programs and training

· Work with government regulatory agencies to remedy any deficiencies and mitigate fines.

· Assist in cost analysis to correct safety hazards

· Assist in paperwork and collection of insurance information on any claims including all data needed for each incident and articulate record keeping any recorded incidents

· Other duties as described by the senior managers

ASSET MANAGER 25%

· Work with Senior Financial officer (SFO) to keep accurate accounting records on all equipment and facilities at all locations or work on any special projects as needed by SFO

· Keep truck and all mobile equipment lists current and accurate at all times by adding or deleting as necessary

· Keep articulate records for each transaction as required by the SFO on depreciation sheets

· Assist as needed in the purchasing, selling and or relocation of assets and rolling stock

· Yearly audits and physical verification of all equipment and backup data to provide accuracy in terms of condition, miles, serial numbers, etc

· Assignment of internal numerical numbers to all equipment and keeping articulate records of all equipment and communicating updates to appropriate Coop personnel

· Other duties as described by the senior management

INVENTORY SPECIALIST 25%

· Assist in the accuracy and physical count of all inventory in all locations and departments

· Assist senior management in looking at velocity reports to make sure all inventory is current and not outdated

· Assist SFO in accuracy of pricing of all month end inventory

· Work with senior management in best practices to keep a current perpetual inventory

· Monthly assisting in preparation of inventory for financial reporting as directed by the SFO

· In charge of Year End Inventory of products with SFO to make sure all locations have accurately counted inventory and that these inventories match up with internal software system reporting

· Assist in the tracking of rebates of all items as needed by the SFO

· Track contracts and purchase orders to C/S, receivers and identify and communicate improvement suggestions to SFO or senior management

· Review quantity analysis for accuracy and report variances to SFO

· Assist SFO as needed for product coding, adjustments and other duties as needed by the SFO

· Price and quantity internal auditing on any product as directed by the SFO

· Any special projects as directed by the senior financial officer

· Other duties as described by senior management

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Strong knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, Securities law, and regulatory reporting.

- Experience in compliance management and fraud prevention.

- Proficiency in financial software and GAAP.

- Excellent communication and public speaking skills

- Must be able to work in a group setting.

- Needs to have an accounting skill set with articulate record keeping and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Certification in SOX or related field is a plus.
