- 17.00 per hour Substitute Assistant Teacher Hours : Monday
- Friday, flexible hours between 7am
- 6pm Substitute Assistant Teacher Responsibilities : Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program Leading age appropriate activities Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children Substitute Assistant Teacher Qualifications : Have 2 years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc) High school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred At least 18 years of age Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided) Substitute Assistant Teacher Benefits: Supplemental insurance benefits (Voluntary Accident/Injury, Hospital, and Cancer coverage via Aflac) 12% employer contribution to your YMCA pension plan YMCA Membership Up to 100% off of Childcare and Camps Exceptional growth potential for your role and career Salary: $15.50
