Responsibilities
- Assist the Director Of Nursing with various tasks.
- Help with the overseeing daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with facility goals and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage nursing staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld within the facility.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve overall health outcomes.
- Monitor patient care quality and implement improvements as needed based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and systems to provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Serve as a liaison between administration, nursing staff, patients, and families to address concerns and enhance communication.
