Base Description:

Our vision of the property manager role is, as the title suggests, we want you to manage every aspect of the properties you manage. Everything that happens on that property, we want you to know about it. Every little change or damage that occurs in the property, we want you to be aware of. You will be in charge of making this owner and the guests happy by providing the best service you can to the property.

The Day to Day:

Perform and complete a detailed walkthrough of the houses before guest check-in, checking the hot tub while they are in, and check the house when they leave. You are communicating thoroughly with the team about issues that arise and contacting contractors to fix the problems that are found during the inspections.

Expectations:

Anything that happens at this property will be your responsibility. Any issues the owners want to be resolved and service calls the guest may have. Everything will be tied back to you. You are expected to maintain a professional work experience and help your fellow property Managers in times of need. Resolving issues in a timely manner and reporting details to the team to report to the owners.

Bonuses:

At the end of the fiscal year, you will receive a $2,000 end-year bonus that grows by $2,000 each year that you have been with the company. This amount will be prorated for the first working year. This amount is also based on performance. You will also receive $25 a night per night you are on call. Additionally, you will receive a $25 gift card if an owner or a renter mentions you by name and say something positive

Tools and Cars:

You are expected to keep a neat and organized car with enough tools to do your day-to-day job without running to the office to grab things. The office will hold specialty tools that may be needed on the fly. You are expected to maintain your company cars' cleanliness and maintenance by scheduling your own oil changes, tire changes, rotations, etc.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing homes for guests' arrival, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
  • Inspecting homes after a guest's departure, including checking carefully for any damages
  • Routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Hot tub maintenance.
  • Communication with guests and homeowners.
  • Ensure owner satisfaction and happiness with each visit. Detailed owner check-ins using photo books to catch any misplaced items.
  • Perform on-call duties a few nights a week.
  • Perform snow shoveling when doing regularly scheduled tasks.
  • Contact subs for work needing to be done on your properties and follow up to ensure they complete it to our standard.

Qualifications:

  • Legal to work in the U.S. with proper identification.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a self-starter who can manage their time well and stay on task.
  • Must be very thorough and able to follow through and follow up.
  • Personable and compassionate to homeowner's and guest's needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors, in all weather.
  • Able to work day, night, weekend, & holiday shifts as needed.
